The last few years have seen growth for the percentage of defaulters in Brazil. Debts with credit cards have even been on the agenda in many discussions between institutions financial.
To facilitate the renegotiation of debts, Brazilians who have debts will be contemplated with new collection values.
The month of December saw a drop in defaulters, but the record of 70.09 million defaulters is still on the rise, as indicated by Serasa's Bad Debt and Debt Negotiation Map.
The lower amount will be charged for the record number of financial companies that joined the Feirão, adding up to 425 of the institutions that are available to settle the debt.
The move is aimed at people who are financially constrained and want to clear their name.
Among the companies available are banks, telephone companies, universities, retailers and companies that buy debt from finance companies.
In all, the proposals reach 356 million opportunities to negotiate. The news is that 113 million of these debts can be settled for up to R$ 100.
In 2022, Feirão had the novelty to settle the debt through Pix, making the name instantly debt free.
This year, therefore, Pix is also taking part in mass negotiations. Aline Maciel, manager of Serasa, reported that instant payment has become attractive, as in 5 business days the debt will no longer be active.
