Regarding the look, the new CNH will keep the QR Code and the driver's information on the back. However, the colors will change, with yellow and green now predominating. Likewise, there will be designs of vehicles that the driver can drive. Those who have permission will have the letter “P” written on their documents, while those who have the final version will have the letter “D”.
In addition, the new model underwent several changes to meet international standards. In this case, CNH will use standards that are accepted almost everywhere in the world, instead of being limited to national routes. Only the Digital Transit Card will be available to the driver.
Another change was in relation to the CNH points system. In this sense, drivers can now reach up to 40 points on their license and continue driving. However, they must not have any serious infractions. The more serious measures, the lower the score limit for having your license suspended.
Since the changes were announced, CNH's classification of vehicles into 14 different categories has received more attention. This is because the letters form combinations with the number one. The objective is that the classification follows a European standard, with a division for the transport of people and goods.
Thus, the letter D stands for passenger transport, C for cargo transport and E for articulated vehicles. As a result, when these letters are combined, they determine which vehicle types a driver can operate.
