According to experts, those who worked in 1999 and are still in the market today may have a review value of FGTS of approximately R$ 10 thousand, and according to some data, 100 million Brazilians can receive this amount. It is worth remembering that approval of the FGTS review depends on the STF. However, voting is stopped, even though there are more than 40,000 shares open for the same purpose.
The “FGTS of the future” can give workers the possibility to use their funds as part of the payment to acquire a home of their own. Through this modality, payments can be facilitated, as well as the allocation of installments, which will occur automatically. There is still no specific date for this FGTS, but it is expected to be as soon as possible.
