Among the innovative concepts that will be unveiled, one stands out as a source of great expectation: the MOQBA, or “Modular Quad Based Architecture“, in literal translation: Modular Architecture Based on Quadricycles.

What is MOQBA?

The MOQBA represents a revolution in vehicle design, being a compact modular vehicle that challenges established norms.

With four wheels and articulated legs, this little electric vehicle it looks like it came straight out of a science fiction setting.

However, its most impressive aspect is its ability to climb stairs autonomously, a feat that not only captivates outdoor enthusiasts technology, but also meets the needs of people with mobility limitations, who continue to face transportation challenges, even in metropolises.

The MOQBA is equipped with a seat and handlebars, resembling a conventional quadricycle. Its chassis is connected to two sets of tracks, each equipped with two articulated legs and wheels. The vehicle also has high versatility and can be coupled with various accessories.

This modular feature allows MOQBA to be used in a variety of situations, from travel everyday life to use as a wheelchair or delivery vehicle, making it a comprehensive solution for urban mobility.

In addition to its versatility, the compact design of the MOQBA allows it to travel in spaces inaccessible to conventional cars and motorcycles, making it useful in emergencies.

Despite currently being just a concept, Suzuki firmly believes that the MOQBA has the potential to revolutionize urban mobility.

The automaker, for now, has not released specific details about the vehicle's technical specifications or availability, but the enthusiasm surrounding this innovation is tangible.

The Japan Mobility Show 2023 will be the stage where Suzuki will demonstrate to the world how urban mobility could transform in the future.
