Do you know what taxidermy is?

If you've ever been to a science museum and seen giant animals that looked real, you've probably come across taxidermy.

This is the technical name given to the art of stuffing animals. The name __________ from the Greek and means something like “skin arrangement”. This is because, in taxidermy, only the animal's skin is used.

Through taxidermy, it is possible to “recreate” an animal that has already died. For this, very specific techniques are used, such as freezing the animal and using resins and molds. The taxidermist is the person responsible for the animal's transformation process.
