A raven that was succumbing with great thirst found a jar, and, hoping to find water, flew to it with great joy.
When she reached it, she found to her sadness that the jar contained so little water in it that it was impossible to get it out.
He tried everything to reach the water inside the jar, but all his efforts were in vain.
At last he took as many stones as he could carry, and placed them one by one inside the jar, until the water level was within his reach and thus saved his life.
