NAME:

the bat and the weasel

A clumsy bat fell into a weasel's nest, she told him it would be her dinner because he liked rats. The bat then said that it wasn't a mouse, it had wings and that's why it was a kind of bird. The weasel let him go.
The other day the bat fell into another weasel's nest, so she told him he would be her dinner because he was a bird, her favorite food. The bat, realizing it was in trouble, said it was not a bird, as it had no feathers, but that it was a mouse and hated cats.

And with such cleverness the bat saved his life for the second time.
