Sisu is a program of the Ministry of Education (MEC) that offers vacancies in public institutions of higher education for students who have taken the National High School Examination (ENEM).
After the announcement of the results of the selection process, students who were not selected in the first call can be placed on the waiting list.
The waiting list is a second chance for students who were not selected in the first SISU call. It is made up of candidates who signed up for the selection, expressed interest in participating in the waiting list and were not selected in the first phase.
Students can only enroll on the waiting list for the course they enrolled in the first phase of SISU. Therefore, if the student wants to apply for other vacancies, he must apply again in the selection process in the next semester.
The call for students is carried out directly by the educational institutions. O MECreinforces that "it is the candidate's responsibility to monitor the calls made by the institution for which he/she applied and the disputes for vacancies on the waiting list".
For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention to the deadlines, procedures and documents required in the announcement of each college, in addition to times and places of service.
Sisu has two annual editions and selects students based on the scores of the National Teaching Examination Medium (Enem) in order of highest classification, up to the limit of vacancies, in each higher education course.
