The fakir and his pot of butter

A fakir used to take some bread, butter and honey from a noble man. He ate the bread with honey, but kept the butter in a glass jar. When the pot was full, the fakir would hang it over his head so that no animals could reach it.
One night he thought about selling the butter to buy a sheep and a ram with that money. And then he said:

– They will give lambs, which will also grow and give their own lambs. And when there are a lot of sheep, I will sell them and buy cows and bulls, which will have calves. And when I have the calves, cows and bulls, I will sell them to buy land. On these lands I will build a beautiful house with a lovely garden. I will marry a beautiful woman and have children. I will teach them manners so that they exalt my name. And if they disobey me, I'll hit them with my staff!
As he said this, he swung his staff in his hand and hit the pot of butter that was hanging above him!
