We have selected some activities with traffic signs that can be worked on in classrooms. In addition, teachers can apply as homework, so that students carry out the activities with their parents, precisely to make them aware too.
On September 25th, the National Traffic Day is celebrated. The date is included in the National Traffic Week, which always takes place between the 18th and 25th of September. The main objective is to make drivers and pedestrians aware of traffic precautions.
The awareness date was inserted in the calendar after the creation of the Brazil Traffic Code, which happened in September 1997. Usually specific themes are used each year that are debated throughout the week. All themes are chosen by the National Traffic Council (Contran).
