The place is known as Vila Olímpica, created especially to host the competition in Brazil. With 36 thousand square meters, the scheduled date for the inauguration of the public park was decided for next year, in 2024.
The changes will be to receive a demand for leisure, adding more children's toys, sports courts and gym equipment that are already found. The place is in front of Lagoa de Jacarepaguá and has a wide area that was intended for large events.
The change in the project, in addition to the toys, courts and exercise equipment, will include the planting of 900 trees and 16,000 bushes, squares, modification of the skate park, interactive floors and a kind of square wet. There will be 27 children's toys spread around the site, 14 bicycle racks, 14 gym equipment and 465 new tables and chairs.
