WhatsApp is the application most used by Brazilians, according to the “Panorama” survey on the Mobile Time website. The Panorama survey sought to identify which applications Brazilians open the most during the day, as well collected data on which apps people spend the most time on and which apps are installed on smartphones.
Meta networks, the company of businessman Mark Zuckerberg, were at the top of the list. In first place, the messenger (WhatsApp) occupied the absolute leadership of the survey, with 54%. Next came Instagram, with 15% and Facebook was in third place, with 7%.
Continuing, Youtube occupied fourth place, with 2%, the other mentioned applications added up to 22% together.
As for the time of use, WhatsApp was also the champion, with 33%, followed by Instagram, which stayed with 27%. Next comes Facebook, with 10% and YouTube, with 7%. Also, Tiktok got 3% and Kwai, 2%, as well as twitter.
As for the most present applications on cell phones, WhatsApp also led, it was on 54% of smartphones. Next, Instagram was at 42% and Facebook at 37% of devices.
In this sense, while WhatsApp remained with a stable percentage compared to last year, the Instagram and Facebook recorded a drop, since in the previous survey they registered 45% and 43%, respectively. In the case of Instagram, this drop interrupted a growth that had been on the rise since 2020.
In addition to the aforementioned apps, apps such as Nubank (13%), Uber (12%) and Youtube (12%) also showed stability in the survey. On the other hand, Telegram (11%) and PicPay (10%) increased.
Caixa Econômica Federal's application (10%) fell, while Banco do Brasil's (9%) remained stable.
