The premise of the “positive record” began to be valid on September 22nd. Now all drivers will be able to enroll in the National Positive Drivers Registry (RNPC). The RNPC allows the granting of benefits and advantages to drivers by private and public sector organizations. These benefits can begin to be granted on October 13th, when the registration process will be activated. Keep reading and learn more about registration and how drivers can participate in the RNPC.

Instituted by Law 14.071/2020, the positive registration record (also called “good driver registration”) may provide some benefits. Drivers who have this record will receive rewards for good behavior of not incurring a traffic violation within a 12-month period.
In this way, the RNPC will gather the drivers who had this registration - that is, who did not pay fines within the term – to give them access to discounts on automotive goods and services, as well as tax benefits and rebates tariffs.
Examples of benefits provided by the RNPC are the following plans: Reduction of tariffs for public and private services, differentiated terms for parking vehicles and contracting an insurance broker, discounts on tolls and parking spaces and availability of cashback.
Participation in the register is voluntary and requires authorization from the driver. It can be registered through the Services Portal of the National Transit Secretariat (Senatran) or through the Digital Transit Wallet (CDT) application. With registration, the participant agrees that his or her application will be considered eligible for benefits.
Companies that want to work with the RNPC must inform Senatran of their interest and outline the benefits that will be provided through an online form. The National Traffic Department established the exclusive Parceiro do Bom Motorista to give visibility to the initiative's partners.
Although it is known as the “good drivers discount program”, the RNPC is open to all types of drivers who have a valid CNH document in any category, including motorcyclists and commercial vehicle drivers (buses, taxis and vans).
