During hot days, if you do not have air conditioning, the fan is one of the most used devices, as it guarantees well-being and comfort. However, if it stays on for a long time, it tends to accumulate dust and this can impair its functioning.
Keeping the fan always clean is also important for health, as people who have rhinitis and sinusitis can suffer from dust accumulated in the propeller. See below for tips on how to clean it!

There are several models of fans, such as ceiling, column, table, among others. They are essential devices to renew the air and produce greater comfort on hot days. However, the longer it is turned on, the greater the amount of dust that accumulates on the grille and propeller.
Keeping the fan always clean is important to avoid health problems, because if it is contaminated it may be releasing dust, mites and bacteria around. With that, these small particles circulating through the air can accumulate in the nasal passages and cause health problems. In addition, the dust accumulated in the propellers can impair the functioning, making them slower and spending more energy.
Cleaning fans is super easy! The first step is to unplug it and open the central cover to gain access to the propellers. Then, with a dry cloth, remove the accumulated dust excess.
After that, moisten the cloth with water, add neutral detergent and wash each propeller gently, then dry with a dry cloth. In hard-to-reach places, use something flexible that will allow you to reach the dirtiest areas. Let it dry naturally in the wind.
When it is completely dry, place the grid and check that everything is well fitted. Turn on the fan and enjoy to cool off.
