Caixa Econômica Federal announced the hiring of 10,000 workers. Vacancies will be allocated for public tender and for outsourced. The goal is to meet the demand for opening 250 new points of service. There will be almost 5,000 vacancies for young apprentices.

Initially, the forecast was 7,700 vacancies, however the number increased, according to the bank. 3,000 professionals must come from the last contest in 2014. These will be summoned immediately, in order of classification. These first vacancies should be completed by the end of the year.
“We are going to hire another 10,000 people. Of these, 4 thousand will be new employees, 3 thousand depend on authorization from Sest (Secretary of Coordination and Governance of State Companies) and a thousand will be PCDs (disabled) in a new contest, in September of this year”, announced the president of the Bank.
Caixa must provide 1,000 vacancies for People with Disabilities (PCD). These will provide their own competition. By September the new notice should be released.
A further 5,200 interns and adolescent apprentices will be hired. In addition to around 800 receptionists and security guards outsourced by the state-owned company.
The hiring of interns and young people takes place through partnership with non-profit entities. These entities participate in the public selection process and agreements.
Even, according to Caixa, the Company-School Integration Center (CIEE) can invite more candidates. In this case, these vacancies will be for internship.
– Be between the ages of 15 and 17 to join the program;
– Have a family income of no more than 50% of the minimum wage;
– Be enrolled at least in the 9th grade of elementary school or higher in EAD – Education for Youth and Adults.
– Remuneration: BRL 954 per month;
– Hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day);
– Meal allowance;
- Transportation vouchers;
- Vacation;
– FGTS: 2%.
Contractors will undergo a training course for the duration of their contract, with practical and theoretical classes. Some of the functions available for the positions are:
– Assistance to account holders;
– Organization of queues;
– Answering phone calls;
– Registrations in virtual systems;
– Distribution of passwords;
– Help the manager and other employees.
– Guidance on services performed by the bank.
