Caixa Tem releases loans for negatives and MEIs through the Digital SIM

The Digital Microcredit Simplification Program for Entrepreneurs, SIM Digital, gained new rules due to MP 1.110/2022. SIM Digital grants credit to Brazilians who are not entitled to common loans, such as informal workers and individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs). These two groups will have loans of R$1,000 and R$3,000, with interest of 1.95% and 1.99% per month, respectively.

In this article, we will discuss a little more about SIM Digital and who can access these loans granted by the Federal Government. Are you curious to know if you are one of the people authorized to use the Digital SIM? Read this text until the end and find out!

Who can borrow with SIM Digital?

SIM Digital was created with the objective of guaranteeing more security for the digital operations of small entrepreneurs. In addition, the program wants to create ways to facilitate microloans for those people who do not have bank accounts, mainly in the North and Northeast regions.

But after all, who can apply for loans at Caixa Tem? Well, the program benefits both individuals and MEIs, with the latter having up to R$81,000 in annual remuneration. Another condition is that these two groups do not have more than R$3,000 in loans from other credit financial institutions.

If you agree with these conditions and want to apply for the loan, you must apply through the Caixa Tem application. It is important to know that, when applying for loans, it is necessary to explain the purpose of the loan, and then Caixa will have up to 10 days to analyze it.

Remember to have the following documents at hand for the Informative Register of Unpaid Credits of the Federal Public Sector (CADIN):

  • CCMEI (Microentrepreneur Status Certificate);
  • DASN (Annual Declaration of Simples Nacional) of the last fiscal year ended with its Delivery Receipt;
  • Personal documents (RG, CPF, proof of residence and marital status).
