That little fish had many beautiful colors. For this reason, his friends and acquaintances called him “the colorful fish”.
You had never seen a sea dweller as good as he. He was always willing to help his fellow men, regardless of the problems and setbacks he had in doing so. He went swimming, swimming, and discovered an octopus that was stuck to a rock. His tentacles were under her and he couldn't get free. The little fish immediately started to help him, but stopped when the octopus warned him, in a pitiful voice:
"Don't come near me, colorful fish!" If you touch the sand around me, it will lose its beautiful colors forever!
The goldfish thought for a moment. He knew what he had to do.
"I don't care about these colors of mine." he said to himself. This octopus needs my help and I will help him.
So he thought and so he did. After some efforts, he managed to free the tentacles of the octopus, which was now able to move with ease. In his efforts, the little fish had leaned back against the sand, and its scales were stained a dark brown, as a reminder of its brilliant and beautiful colors.
The goldfish became admired across the ocean for its kindness and detachment. Although its scales never again showed their former beauty, everyone knew that the goldfish's heart had a glow and a dazzling beauty.
How wonderful!
