samsung, a South Korean transnational corporation, opens vacancies for the Code IoT Program. Project includes distance training and guarantees certifications in the areas of internet of things (IOT), electronics and development of applications for smartphones.
Between April 6th and May 4th, more than 30,000 people registered for the course program. The states that had the highest demand were São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

Offered since 2017, the Code IoT Program it has trained more than 158,000 people. There are six options for free courses offered, including:
“We are committed to ensuring that the next generation is prepared for a technology-driven future. We believe in the potential to reach new heights of innovation and develop solutions that change society. And this path takes place through education”, said the Corporate Citizenship Manager at Samsung Brasil, Isabel Costa.
To the enrollment for courses will remain open until the end of the quarantine period. Those interested can enroll in one or more courses.
The certificate is offered to students who complete the disciplines with a grade above 60%, including the evaluation of the final project.
A Internet of things (IoT) refers to the digital interconnection of everyday objects with the internet. In other words, it is a network of physical objects capable of gathering and transmitting data.
Thus, IoT is an extension of the current internet that allows objects used in routine to connect to the internet and develop their own communication. These new capabilities open the way to countless possibilities, both in the academic and industrial fields.
