Unicamp released this Thursday (23) the list of 12 must-do works in Portuguese for the 2021 entrance exam.The ratio is different from the one that will be applied in the 2020 selection process by the Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Examinations (Comvest).
For 2021, Comvest has made three changes from the previous list. Included were “The Seminary of the Rats”, by Lygia Fagundes Telles; “O Marinheiro”, by Fernando Pessoa, and “O Ateneu”, by Raul Pompéia.

The works “A hora e a vez de Augusto Matraga”, by Guimarães Rosa, from the book Sagarana, “O bemado”, by Dias Gomes, and “Caminhos Cruzados, by Érico Veríssimo, are on the 2020 list, but not in 2021.
According to the Comvest, the criteria used were the representativeness of these literary manifestations in cultural traditions, the standard of aesthetic elaboration and the presence of thematic nuclei suitable for the pedagogical training of teaching students average.
