READ TEXT 1 and 2 and answer the questions about these readings:
March 8th is important because women are still oppressed: when we are truly treated as equals, we can turn it into a celebration. Women's Day is not supposed to be a simple and cute tribute to the beautiful smiling and cute women, oh, these women, so beautiful and so ingenious, but that men love. It's a day to put all the issues that need to be debated on the agenda, it's to talk about the fight for women's rights, not about PMS and manicures. It's not supposed to have a “light tone”. Light tone does not suit serious matters, hence so many negative manifestations of paternalistic campaigns. Some people come up with those talks that the reactions are disproportionate, that they don't, that it's not that much, that it's fresh, that it's exaggeration, that we should also talk about “normal” women. As if the only aggression that counted was physical. As if the only oppression that counts was the explicit one. As if, for example, a pattern of overwhelming beauty was not also a form of oppression.(…)

Woman is greatness. It's distinction. Woman is unique. It's seduction. To be a woman is to be part of a story of struggle and conquest, a story rich in characters that scream the truth from the depths of each one of us. There is no woman greater than any woman, just as there is no being greater than any woman. If there is justice in the world, it is due to all the women who built everything from nothing.
Women's hearts are unlike any that dwell within all beings. And that's why today we know the positive part of the world as it is. Regarding the negative part, it is still under construction, but we can be sure of one thing: the world will get even better. Because women are the window to goodness. They are word. They are song. The woman is life. She gives life. No one mirrors hope as much as a woman. Nobody. We should kneel down every night, thanking God for the gift He has given us: the woman. There is nothing that shines brighter on our planet than women. There is nothing that breathes more love, more truth. The woman is unique from all points of view.(…)
