What was the Treaty of Paris of 1763?

O Treaty of Paris was an agreement signed in 1763, which put an end to the Seven Years' War.

Signed between France, Great Britain, Spain It is Portugal, it enabled large exchanges of colonial territories between the main powers of Europe. The colonies most impacted by the agreement were those in North America and the Caribbean.

Thus, Great Britain acquires the Canada, Saint Vincent, Minorca, Nova Scotia, Grenada, Dominica and Tobago, formerly belonging to France.

France regains its colonies in India, the territories of Guadeloupe, Gorea and Saint Lucia and is granted its fishing rights in Newfoundland.

Spain chooses to Havana and gives up Florida, in addition to recovering the Philippines and receiving the territory corresponding to Louisiana from France.
