The pandemic accelerated the dissociation process with physical offices and made it feasible to live in a region where there was no job market before. With this in mind, the US government began offering financial aid and incentives for those who work, especially remotely, to move to small towns and encourage their expansion.
Values can reach up to US$ 20,000, equivalent to approximately R$ 100,000 at the current exchange rate, but there are also states that offer tax incentives, associations, partnerships and much more.
However, there are some prerequisites for these new residents: only adults can apply (in the US, the civil majority is from 21 years old) who are able to work in the country. This means that a work visa or US nationality is required.

1. Harmony, Minnesota
Incentives: $12,000 in discounts (buying or renovating property).
Prerequisites: Interested in buying real estate.
2. Matoon, Illinois
Incentives: $11,400 + coverage of moving expenses, co-working space, six months of free internet and discounts at local stores.
Prerequisites: People with family income above US$ 45,000.
3. Morgantown, Virginia
Incentive: $20k
Prerequisites: Work remotely in a company not headquartered in the state.
4. noblesville, ind.
Incentives: US$ 15,000 + coworking space and health and wellness grant.
Prerequisites: Adults who can legally work in the US.
5. Rochester, New York
Incentives: $19 thousand
Prerequisites: Working remotely in a company located more than 480 kilometers from the city.
6. Southwest, Michigan
Benefits: $15k
Prerequisites: Work remotely in a company not headquartered in the state.
7. Topeka, Kansas
Incentives: US$ 11,000 to 15,000 – value varies between buying and renting a house.
Prerequisites: Work remotely.
8. Northwest Arkansas State
In this case, it is not a specific city, but some of the cities in that state.
Benefits: $10,000 worth of bitcoins
Prerequisites: IT professionals with at least 2 years of professional experience and at least 24 years of age.
