1. Select from the tab home page the style Title 1 write your titles. If you have subheadings, select styles according to sequence.
2. After writing all the titles of your text, position the cursor where the summary will be. select the tab References and then, Summary. Choose an automatic summary.
1. The title of the summary must be in capital letters, centered, bold and have the font Arial or New Times Roman.
It must be in size 14 and have line spacing of 1.5. To apply these standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), select the title of the summary and the corresponding tabs.
2. The content of the summary must be in size 12 and in the font Arial, with spacing of 1.5. Titles and subtitles will be formatted according to the text, so it is necessary to follow the rules throughout the body.
1. If you want to insert more topics or write more along the text, just select the tab References and the button Update summary to change page numbers and add or remove headings.
