Certain inventions really changed the world! In general, they were marked by their practicality and usefulness, in addition to having driven evolution in several aspects.
In our daily lives, we may even forget how much they make a difference, but the truth is that it would be difficult to imagine our life without them.

Next, we will present seven inventions that deserve special merit!
1 – Telephone
Although many people have tried to develop devices capable of transmitting voice electronically, the first to patent the telephone was Alexander Graham Bell, in 1876.
As is well known, its invention came to provide incredible practicality in our daily lives, as it revolutionized global communication. Through the telephone, people in different places can communicate, exchange information and talk about different subjects.
2 - Wheel
As far as is known, the invention of the wheel happened 3500 a. W. In terms of locomotion, its emergence provided several significant changes to history. Before her, the means of transportation and the way of displacement of human beings were very limited.
The result of this invention was the ease in the development of agriculture and trade in goods, as well as long distance travel.
3 - Combustion engine
The invention of the combustion engine appeared in 1876, with the creation of the “Otto engine” (four strokes), which allowed its dynamization. This process works as follows: first the fuel is sucked in, then compressed, then combusted and, finally, in the fourth stroke, the combustion gases are expelled.
4 - Lamp
Have you ever imagined how today would be without the existence of light? That's right, although access to it is fundamental to compose modernity, many people still live only with sunlight. It turns out that this condition was a reality all over the world and the work carried out by the population depended on daylight.
Thomas Edison was responsible for its creation, but many people worked hard to develop the incandescent light bulb.
5 – Airplane
In some places, the credit for creating the plane is given to the American brothers Wilbur and Orville Wright. However, in Brazil and other countries, it is another figure that receives this merit, Santos Dumont, on account of his famous 14-Bis, which flew for the first time in 1906.
The creation of the airplane is considered another revolution in transport, as well as the wheel and the combustion engine. It enabled the shortening of distances between countries and continents.
People no longer depended on long journeys by ship to cross continents. What used to take months can now be accomplished in hours.
6 – Computer
As is well known, the emergence of the computer brought many important changes to the current generation. Its technology has improved the process of communication, research, calculation, marketing, data analysis, problem solving, education and entertainment.
Its invention was dated in 1941, by the German Konrad Zuse. These devices have undergone many modifications and currently have very different characteristics from the first computers.
7 – Internet
Have you ever wondered what today's world would be like without the internet? This network is responsible for connecting the world and is indispensable for the infinite things that we develop in modern society.
The initial intention, when a team of scientists from the US Department of Defense created the internet, was just to help communication between the agency's computers. However, the result of this project resulted in something much greater than expected.
But, in fact, who gets the credit for its creation is Lawrence Roberts, American computer scientist.
