The salaries of the governors of Brazil, as well as any other public servant, cannot exceed the income ceiling of ministers of the Federal Supreme Court.
In addition, governors cannot receive any other form of income other than the salary that, in each state, is stipulated by the deputies who occupy the Legislative Assembly.
