'Exemption in ENEM' keep an eye on the deadline

The deadline to request the exemption is from April 4 to 15, and it must be done on the “Participant's Page”. Students who requested exemption last year and for some reason could not attend, if they wish to request exemption this year again need to justify the absence through documents, and the deadline for this is the same.

The documents accepted for the justification are present in the notice published in the DOU, and will only be accepted online in PDF, PNG or JPG format.

The results of the exemption and justification will come out on April 22nd, and whoever has the request denied can appeal between April 25th and 29th, which will have the result released on May 6th.

Who is entitled to exemption:

• Students who are attending the last year of high school in a public school;
• Who studied the entire high school in a public school, or was a full scholarship holder in a private school;

• Participants in socioeconomic vulnerability, who are registered in the Single Registry;

ENEM grades can be used by participants to apply for a place in public and private universities, as well as to participate in federal programs such as SISU, ProUni and Fies.
