First, it is important to know that glass lids should be washed lightly, without using very abrasive substances and washing after each use. In this sense, a great way to clean these items is the most common, that is, using detergent and a soft sponge, and occasionally do a heavier wash.
To do this, take a basin that fits the lid, fill it with warm water until it covers it and add two spoons of white wine vinegar. This mixture should be acting for, on average, 10 minutes. When the time is up, remove the lid and rub it with a sponge.
In parallel to this, prepare a baking soda paste, mixing two spoons with a little neutral detergent. Put the paste on the sponge and rub the lid, especially in the corners where dirt accumulates. After doing this, just rinse and dry it with a cloth.
The first tip you can follow is to fill the container with water and add bleach, using the proportion of four tablespoons of bleach for every two cups of water. Leave this mixture on for half an hour and it will remove even the oldest stains. However, if you don't have bleach, you can substitute two tablespoons of detergent, although in that case the mixture won't be as strong and efficient. Finally, another tip is to use hot water with soap or detergent, instead of water at natural temperature.
