Before you start planning your presentation, ask yourself if you really know the audience that will attend your presentation. lecture, what resources you will have at your disposal at the presentation venue and how much time you will have available to to present. As much as it seems obvious questions, many speakers get lost on the day of the presentation and end up being frowned upon by their listeners.

2 – Establish the purpose of your presentation

You will hardly have good results in your presentation if you have not clearly established your objective. Know in fact what you expect at the end of the presentation, be it approval from a client, scheduling a new meeting, inspire people, increase company website visits or employee page likes Facebook. Don't make the mistake of spending hours preparing for a presentation without even having a clear objective to be achieved, because your listeners need to know the reason why they were summoned.

3 – Be objective

With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there is hardly any time and patience left to listen to someone talking non-stop without getting anywhere. Be concise in your ideas and allow your listeners to feel familiar with the subject matter.

4 – Use your creativity

If you have a goal to achieve, it's essential that you bet on something different to call your audience's attention and keep them interested in the subject until the end of the lecture. You can bet on a video or count on the participation of someone who can add value to your presentation, without losing sight of your main objective.

5 – Interact with the audience

To make your presentation more dynamic and interactive, allow your listeners the opportunity to participate. Avoid going through the slides in a monotonous and lackadaisical way. Show that you are interested in each person in the room, and make sure you maintain eye contact with your audience. Don't just worry about talking, but also be aware if your listeners want to tell you something important during the presentation.

6 – Be consistent

When assembling your slides, think about what will be said to complement what is being projected. Keep coherence and avoid saying something that completely escapes the illustration. In this way, you will prevent your audiences from feeling lost or unmotivated to pay attention to your approach.
