Have you ever thought about having at your disposal a 70-kilometer cycle path? Well, this mega cycle path, which was often considered an idealization, will be completed in 2020, in Europe. The project is refreshing and promises to move many cyclists who cannot find a suitable place to practice the sport.
But the advantages don't stop there. In addition to the great length of the runway, the “eurovelo” will connect 43 countries on a total of 14 routes of different sizes. The routes can be covered both by local populations commuting daily, and by tourists who venture to make long trips on two wheels.

Each of the routes will receive a name inspired by the landscapes and stories encountered during its journey. A good example is route 14, which was named the “Iron Curtain” due to the Cold War. With more than 10,000 kilometers in length, it is the longest route on the mega cycle path and connects 20 nations, such as Russia, Germany, Bulgaria, Norway and Turkey.
