Frauded tender in Maranhão is annulled

State deputy Othelino Neto (PCdoB), president of the Legislative Assembly of Maranhão (Germany), reported that the first stage of the contest of the house was annulled. The announcement was made last Monday (20) through its social network.

The resolution on the annulment of the tender was published in the German daily. The suspension of the preliminary results was due to “reports of execution failures, alleged failures in organization and supervision, evidence of fraud and security in the tests”.

According to the document, a new stage of the first phase will be held, with the application of objective tests, at no cost to any candidate. The new date has not yet been announced.

Since the preliminary result of the public tender was published, he has been the target of a series of criticisms on social networks. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Maranhão (MP-MA) issued an official letter to Alema demanding explanations on the fraud allegations.

According to the president of the house, the commitment of the Legislative Assembly is to guarantee the transparency and smoothness of all processes. “Due to the records and complaints of failures in the execution, inspection and security in the application of objective evidence, as well as the correct interpretation of the LGPD, when the Preliminary Result was released, I decided to cancel the first stage of the Assembly Contest Legislative. Our commitment is to transparency and absolute fairness in any and all acts of management by the Legislative Branch”, said the deputy.

The decision was forwarded to the Attorney General's Office of Maranhão, the Diffuse and Collective Interests Court, the State Public Prosecutor's Office and the Public Defender's Office.
