39 foreign universities that accept the Enem score

The importance of National High School Examination (Enem) for admission to Brazilian institutions is widely known by students. However, what many people do not know is that the performance in the tests can also be used by foreign universities.

In Europe, several institutions accept the Enem score as part of joining their student body. Most of them are located in Portugal and the United Kingdom. UK

The admission process at UK universities varies by institution. But, part of them already takes into account the performance in the Enem as part of the selection.

Five universities include, among other items, the Enem score as part of admission. However, each institution has its methods for admission, so the interested person should enter the respective websites to check the details.

  • kingston university: requires a minimum score of 55% on the Enem as one of the items described.
  • University of Bristol: result above the cut-off point in the Enem as part of the admission process.
  • University of Oxford: the Enem is just one of the many criteria required by the renowned university.
  • University of Glasgow: the grade on the Enem is one of the points included in the admission process.
  • BirkbeckUniversity of London: the High School certificate or Enem are among the items for admission to the foundation year

What is the foundation year?

International students admitted to British universities must undergo an introductory year, the foundation year. It works as a preparation for the higher education system in the country.

PORTUGAL

As in the United Kingdom, Portuguese universities adopt different criteria for admitting foreign students. Currently, 34 Portuguese institutions include Enem scores as part of admission.

University of Algarve

It requires a minimum of 500 points on the essay and 475 points on each of the other tests. The university has annual fees between 2,000 and 3,500 euros that can be paid in up to 8 installments.

Coimbra University

Applications from Brazilian students who participated in the last three editions of Enem. Typically, admission processes have applications open in June.

Polytechnic Institute of Beja

Students who have completed high school and participated in the last three editions of the Enem can participate.

University of Lisbon

The application period takes place between March and October. The institution adopts several criteria for admission.

University of Porto

The institution adopts different weights for Enem grades. This will vary depending on the desired course and college.
