O Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) announced the opening of registration for the selection process assigned to the temporary position of Census Research and Mapping Agent (ARCMAP).
With a total of 148 vacancies available nationwide, selection requires a high school diploma. The announcement covers vacancy reservation policies for self-declared black and brown candidates, as well as for disabled people (PCD).

Those interested in participating in the selection process have until August 13 to register. The complete announcement with the information can be found on the website of the National Institute of Selections and Contests (SELECON). To formalize the registration, it is necessary to pay a fee of R$ 30.00.
Those approved will receive a salary of R$ 3,100, in addition to benefits such as food allowance in the amount of R$ 658, transport allowance and school allowance.
The initial contract is for a duration of up to one year, with the possibility of extension for another two years. The workload will be 40 hours a week, distributed over 8 hours a day.
The selection of candidates will be made through an objective test, with elimination and classification, scheduled for September 24th. The final result of the process will be announced on October 25th.
The syllabus covers disciplines such as Portuguese, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, Ethics in the Public Service and Geography.
The objective is to hire staff to support activities after the Demographic Census. Candidates must pay attention to the registration deadlines and preparation for the objective test.
