The case took place on Tuesday, March 28, and began with an accident on the highway, where police officers appeared. To escape the police approach, an unidentified man decided to get into the road patrol car and, thus, a police pursuit began at more than 160 km/h.
There were even images released showing the exact moment when the greatest tragedy happened, the boy's jump from the moving vehicle. There was also an effort by the police to resuscitate the boy through resuscitation maneuvers. However, shortly after being transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center, his death was confirmed.

The case was broadcast live on FOX and took place in California, in the Lancaster region. No information has yet been released regarding the identity of the man, however it was reported that he suffered from mental problems.
In the video, you can see the moment when the man opens the door and jumps out of the driver's seat with the car at about 110 km/h. With the jump, the boy slid down the track and suffered a heavy blow to the head, while the stolen car ended up leaving the track at speed until it collided with a pole.
Upon finding the boy, the police quickly gave him first aid and sent him to a hospital, however, four hours after his arrival, the man ended up dying.
Sounding like an action movie plot or games, the case was really surprising for most people, who made several comments on social networks. Many were sarcastic and others were quite concerned about what had happened.
“Idiots think life is a movie until they hit the curb at 45mph,” commented one user.
“There needs to be easier access to mental health facilities and treatment. This is so sad. I have autism and also suffer from depression. I'm blessed to know the system and have a supportive family, but other people need help. We need change!!!” said another.
