Even if the program iFood Pedal is a success, there is still a precarious supply of bicycles for the category — around 18,000 bikes for the 40,000 delivery people at the base.

When adhering to the program's rental, couriers also take shorter and faster routes, as the app takes into account the place where the bikes will be picked up and returned. The cost to use the bicycle for 2 shifts of up to 4 hours a day is BRL 32 per week.
According to couriers who use the program, it is necessary to increase the number of bikes available and ensure more maintenance for vehicles, which can lead to an improvement in services.
