The works available on Itaú Cultural Play are from various regions of Brazil. The categories include several curatorships, such as “Todos os Gêneros”, which features diverse productions, including LGBTQIA+.
Itaú Cultural is a bank initiative to encourage the production of artistic content, research in the area and the intellectual democratization of national productions. There are physical spaces in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasília. However, during pandemic, digital actions stood out and, last year, the Itaú Cultural Play platform was launched.
According to the institution, the main objective is to raise public for Brazilian audiovisual productions. Those responsible for the bank have already stated that the proposal is to represent the diversity and plurality of local productions, in all states.
