These activities were very important for me to teach a good class. Thank you very much
All children start by learning the vowels. Therefore, it is important that teachers invest in activities with dotted vowels. First, it is important to understand the vowels better.
They are natural phonemes formed by the current of air that, coming from the lungs, passes freely through the mouth or nose, making the vocal folds vibrate. They are the nucleus of syllables in the Portuguese language and represent the beginning of human speech and communication.
Babies are great examples, as they can't speak yet, they make sounds in an attempt to communicate. These sounds are vowels. Represented by the letters A, E, I, O and U, they are essential and indispensable for the formation of a syllable and can be classified by their articulation, timbre and intensity.
In addition, simple vocal sounds originate that do not need the help of other letters to rule, and with the consonants they invent words. There are no words that can be constructed without vowels. The mouth acts as a resonator, and produces, by varying its volume, different timbres, which is complemented by pronouncing the different vowels with the different positions adopted by the lips and tongue. This allows classifying vowels into open or strong (a, o, e) and closed or weak (i, u) as there is greater or lesser distance, respectively, between the tongue and the palate. When two vowels come together in a single syllable we call it a diphthong. They must respond to two flat voices, or a weak and strong mood.
Below we have selected some activities that teachers can enjoy and apply in the classroom or as homework. Remembering that it is important that teachers apply activities for students to continue practicing at home. In addition, parents can participate even more in their children's education. Follow and enjoy all the tips below.
