This humanoid robot developed by the company Hanson Robotics believes that more robots like it should enter diverse industries as AI continues to develop.
During the interview, the robot CEO highlighted the positive influence of entrepreneurs like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg praising their ability to use technology to drive change social.
However, Mika stated that AI CEOs can be even more efficient as they are able to manage and optimize processes and decisions based on patterns of dataand algorithms.
She warned of the need for oversight of these algorithms to avoid unwanted bias. In addition, she highlighted that she performs several functions in the company, such as strategic planning, communication and packaging design.
Despite AI's clear advantages, Mika acknowledged that it also has its limitations, citing imagination as the only limit to continued robot development. She also spoke about the occasional power outage as an issue to be addressed.
The company Hanson Robotics, responsible for the development of Mika, had already released the humanoid robot Sophia previously. Sophia gained notoriety when she was named an ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme.
Last month, Sophia drew attention by claiming that humanoid robots could be more efficient than humans in the governance of the world, due to the lack of prejudices and emotions that could cloud decisions.
Despite the different opinions between Mika and Sophia, both agree that robots and humans have different and complementary capabilities and should not be seen as substitutes for each other.
As AI continues to advance, it is evident that its impact on business and society will be increasingly significant.
