Ruth Rogan Benerito

Owner of 55 patents, the American chemist Ruth Benerito (1916-2013) became known as the “Queen of Cotton”. He invented a technique to wash fabrics without shrinking during the wash. This helped revolutionize the textile industry. Inducted into the ___ Inventors Hall of Fame in 2008. Ruth had two children.
