The juçara is a beautiful species of palm tree. Slender, it has a thin trunk with slightly marked _________, and can reach more than 20 meters in height. Exclusive to the Atlantic Forest, it is found in wetter forest areas from the Northeast to Rio Grande do Sul and also in some regions of Argentina and Paraguay.
