The action promoted by both took place on September 28th, at the INCA in question, located in Vila Isabel, north of Rio de Janeiro.
During the event, 15 wigs were personally delivered to women undergoing cancer treatment, while the rest were sent to INCA for future distribution.
The Federal Revenue, in its constant commitment to social responsibility, found in this action a creative way to use the hair seized in its operations.
Instead of simply discarding them, the strands are now donated to Cabelegria, a non-profit organization. nonprofit that transforms hair into high-quality wigs for patients undergoing treatment cancer.
The 15 wigs in question were part of a batch of 200 that were produced, using 65 kg of human hair.
