Constitution of 88: ‘ragged young lady of 35’
Unlike the battles and creature captures normally associated with the franchise, PokeTsume will have an approach far from the plot of drawings.
The creators described the series as a tribute to Pokémon's legacy, exploring how the games' adventures influenced an entire generation of fans.
The narrative revolves around Madoka Akagi, a young woman who starts a stressful job in Tokyo. Now, the focus is on the girl's adult life, trying to adapt to the challenges of this period.

After a near-catastrophic episode of job stress, she finds her old Game Boy with a Pokémon Red cartridge and delve into memories of childhood in love with the little monsters of pocket.
From that point on, Madoka begins to relate her experiences as a Pokémon trainer as a child with the challenges of adulthood.
The story will show how the skills acquired by Madoka during her adventures in the world of games helped her face the obstacles of this phase.
One of the fun features of the series is the way it pays homage to the first generations of Pokémon and makes connections to the real world.
Characters like Madoka Akagi have names that reflect elements of the game, such as “aka,” which means red in Japanese, in reference to the game's title.
Furthermore, Madoka's rival in the company has a name in green, alluding to the name of the classic opponent in the series.
The series also plays with gym leaders and even Pokémon creatures, such as an employee presented as a useless Magikarp about to evolve.
PokeTsume is set to premiere on Japanese TV on October 19, although there is no information yet on its online release or availability in other territories.
For now, fans remain eager to see how this take on the Pokémon franchise will fare and whether it will be able to captivate a generation of viewers like the animated series.
