In the images, the man shouts at the kangaroo to let the dog go and then punches one of the marsupial's paws.

One of these paws was the one that prevented the dog from leaving the deep side of the river. With the blow, pet he managed to free himself from the kangaroo's claws.

The owner, however, is attacked by the marsupial and ends up dropping his cell phone into the river. After recovering the device, Mick returns to filming the interaction with the kangaroo, which remains aggressive.

To try to dissuade him, the man throws water on the animal, but this seems to make the situation worse. The marsupial advances towards you again, showing off its claws.

Upon realizing that his dog is already safe near the bank, Mick moves away from the kangaroo towards land, laughing at the unusual situation. See the video:

In an interview with ABC Australia, Mick shared his experience, describing the kangaroo's robustness. He noted that the animal's muscles were impressive, reminiscent of someone recently released from prison.

Mick described the situation as challenging, mentioning that he struck the kangaroo in the head, which resulted in a confrontation in the water.

During the fight, he felt that the marsupial was threatening to kick his legs, so he decided to throw water at the animal and try to get away.

However, the kangaroo continued to show aggression and tried to attack him again as he emerged from the water. I'm glad the dog and his owner managed to get out of this situation!
