Threads has surpassed the 100 million user mark worldwide. The information was announced during a meeting on the publication of the results of the Meta group for the third quarter of 2023. The company's CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, revealed that the increase of 100 thousand users could represent a good number for the social network.
The Threads platform is considered a direct competitor to billionaire Elon Musk's X (formerly Twitter). In recent months, the Meta's microblog has shown promising results compared to your competitor after the changes made.

In the first week after the platform's launch, more than 150 million downloads were made by new users. Downloads were noticed on both Google Play and the Apple Store.
The result achieved by Threads was a milestone, reaching the peak of best launch in both stores and even surpassing the Pokémon Go, from Niantic.
However, after some time of use, several people were tempted to abandon the application due to the lack of some basic tools.

Still due to the negative feedback and the large number of abandonments, the director of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, made some revelations. He reported that Threads has received constant updates and there are several new features on the way to improve it.
Threads was launched in the middle of this year, more specifically in July. Ironically, Meta's CEO used X to post an announcement about the launch, after eleven years of silence on the rival social network.
The Meta platform also emerged at a very controversial time for its competitor X, as it underwent drastic changes, such as changing its logo and title.
Thus, due to several actions taken by Elon Musk on his social network, many dissatisfied users ended up migrating from the service.
