A Mexican woman shared her birth experience on TikTok and left her followers amazed. She reported that her blood vessels in her face had ruptured and her eyes had become red due to the birth of the baby.
The child was born weighing 4.6 kg, being considered a “giant” baby for a normal birth. Because of this, the mother had to exert a lot of force to give birth and her blood vessels in her face literally burst.

The case happened in Coahuila, in Mexico, and the report was shared on October 11 by Maíra on her TikTok profile. The video quickly went viral and, to date, the publication already has more than 470 thousand likes and 4.3 million views on the social network.
“I gave birth to the biggest baby that day – exploding every blood vessel in my face,” the mom explained in the stunning video.

Maíra is already a mother of twins and, for her, the situation with the second birth took a very different direction than expected.
At the beginning of the video, Maíra is in the hospital getting ready with the help of her husband. He straightens her hair with a hair straightener and everything goes normally until that moment.
Then, she starts to feel contractions and her situation changes completely because of the pain. Finally, the video shows Maíra opening her eyes, which are very red, as is her face.

Followers were in shock and left some comments to understand what happened: “You held your breath… as if I was curious! And I’m here, 6 months pregnant”, commented a follower.
Then, Maíra replied that she had to hold her breath and push very hard to be able to give birth to the 4.6 kg baby. “I just wanted him to leave because he was hurting me so much. I had blood coming out of my eyes,” she added.
Other people told of their own experiences with difficult births and congratulated the mother for her courage at that moment.
The break during the childbirth It happens because of the extreme force that the mother exerts, which causes the chest to contract and increase the pressure, explained obstetrician Alexandre Pupo in an interview with the Crescer magazine portal.
Impactful cases like Maíra's can happen during natural birth, although this is not common in medicine.
