To make one of these, you will need items that almost every Brazilian has at home. The first of these is a fan. Then, two pet bottles, ice and, of course, lots – but lots! – Brazilian way.
Cut the bottoms of the two plastic bottles. Then, make some holes only in the furthest part of the mouth. Then ice up to where you drilled the holes.
With the ice “dispensers” ready, you will need to tie them to the back of the fan. This can be done with a wire or a small string. However, wire is the best option, as it will make your air conditioner more stable.
Now, just turn on the fan and enjoy the cold air to cool off.
Clear! The ice releases cold air and, with the fan, it is directed towards you.
Over time, the iceIt will obviously melt and turn into water. Then, you just open the lid of the pet bottles so that it drains into a bowl or bucket. Then, just fill the “dispensers” with ice again.
Is it or isn't it a creative solution to beat the heat? It's like they say on social media: Brazilians need to be studied, because they are born with a knack for brilliant ideas. And, let's face it, the only reason we haven't dominated the world yet is because it doesn't suit us. But we will soon achieve this goal.
