This Creamy Beans Recipe Will Elevate Your Dishes

You will need:

  • 2 cups of beans;
  • Water to taste;
  • 1 clove of chopped garlic;
  • 1 cup of finely chopped onion;
  • Calabrian sausage to taste;
  • Bacon to taste;
  • Salt to taste.

Method of preparation:

1st step: First, cook the two cups of beans in a pressure cooker with enough water to cover them for about 20 minutes. However, don't forget to check if they are soft or require cooking.

2nd step: Then, take a frying pan and fry the pepperoni sausage and bacon cut into small pieces until they are golden and crispy. Reserve.

3rd step: As for the seasoning, use another pan, and sauté the chopped garlic and onion in a little oil until they are soft and aromatic.

4th step: Now, add the cooked beans and salt to taste to the pan with the stew and mix well. Therefore, let it boil over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broth thickens a little.

5th step: finally, serve the beans with broth on individual plates and place the sausage and bacon fried on top.

As seen, sautéing the beans a lot allows the broth to reduce and become consistent. Another factor that increases juiciness is adding pieces of pepperoni and other sausages, which enhance the flavor and even replace the main protein.
