Even though students don't like it very much, bimonthly assessments are essential in any discipline. Teachers need to monitor their students' development in the classroom. With this in mind, we selected some assessment activities on the food chain. Teachers can take advantage of each of them and apply them in the classroom.
When animals feed on plants, they consume the energy they need to survive. Energy passes from plants to herbivorous animals, and from herbivores to carnivorous animals.
Plants, unicellular algae and certain bacteria produce their own food through photosynthesis, which is why they are called producers.
Some animals do not produce their own food, these are called consumers.
The consuming animals can be:
There are fungi and bacteria that decompose dead plants and animals, they are called decomposers.
The food chain works as follows:
PRODUCERS (plants)
CONSUMER DECOMPOSERS (herbivores)
CONSUMERS (carnivores)

Another very interesting tip, which many teachers already use, is to apply a test before the assessment. This allows students to prepare for exams and know how it will work. Many teachers even pass a test in the same form as the assessment. For example: Three multiple-choice and two discursive questions. This can be a good idea for students to learn even more.
