Portuguese Activity: Participle

Portuguese activity, aimed at eighth grade students, proposes the study of participle. The questions were prepared based on the text the bristle brush.

the bristle brush

The bristle brush only appeared in China around 1498. The shaft was a wand with bamboo or a piece of bone and the bristles were made from pig hair. […] These models – made with animal hair – which arrived in Europe, __________ by Chinese merchants […], were hugely successful and became a very expensive item. So expensive that the most common is that there was only one toothbrush for the whole family. The brush with nylon bristles, like those of today, was created in 1938, in the United States, and spread around the world.
