Zoologists believe the dog originated from a species of wolf that lived in Asia. Then dogs joined humans and spread almost all over the world. This friendship started about 12,000 years ago, when people needed to hunt for food. The dogs realized that if they didn't attack humans, they could stay close to them and eat what was left over. Men, on the other hand, discovered that dogs could help with hunting, tending herds and taking care of the house, in addition to being great companions. One collaborated with the other and the partnership worked.
