With a heat of almost 40ºC, Bataguassu recorded this Wednesday the ninth highest temperature in Brazil.

With the thermometers recording almost 40°C, Bataguassu recorded this Wednesday, February 22, 2017, the ninth largest temperature in Brazil and along with seven other cities in Mato Grosso do Sul led the ranking among the 10 hottest cities from the country.

In addition to Bataguassu, which recorded 36, 4ºC, the municipalities of Bela Vista, Porto Murtinho, Água Clara, Aquidauana, Juti, Jardim and Sete Quedas also occupied the ten first positions in the ranking of temperatures, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet). In these places, the thermometers registered between 38ºC and 36ºC in this Tuesday.
